THE WHat
Sa-Bai doesn’t like school for sure, but she has no choice. Wait, who’s pushing her? She’s a homeless cat……
When Sa-Bai was about 3 weeks of age, a sweet l’ol lady found her in the back alley of a restaurant looking for food. Sa-Bai was too hungry to even stand up straight. The only stand-out trait was her huge teary eyes. Sa-Bai struggled with life and death; she was from the skin to the bones. The old lady slowly took out a piece of a half-chewed cookie and gave it to sa-bai. Sa-bai had no idea that the old lady was also struggling and looking for food in the restaurant’s back alley. With a deep fear of losing the cookie, sa-bai dashed, leaving the old lady in the shadow.
As Sa-Bai ran, she realized that the old lady was probably hungry too; she was also skin to bones. So she turned back and saw in the distance that the old lady was sobbing in the dark.
Sa-Bai was sorry for sure. How could she be so selfish as that? She returned half of the cookie to the old lady. The old lady was so happy that Sa-Bai realized she had shared her food with Sa-Bai out of a good heart.
Since then, Sa-Bai and the old lady have become good friends. They do everything together until one day, the old lady thinks it is appropriate for sa-bai to go to school.
By the way, the old lady’s name is Sa-Sa.
